Our first trio of musicians at the brewery! You won’t want to miss these exceptional musicians. When we asked Chris what style he played, he answered,

“Our repertoire ranges from true authentic traditional Irish music of many sorts—slow, fast and faster—all the way to 'call-the-fire-truck' pub-speed roof-raising rabble rousers, scientifically calculated to induce sweat and boost beer sales of course!”

Did you miss Noah’s last performance at the brewery? Now is your chance to see this incredible artist up close and personal. “Too Northern to play true Delta Blues, not cowboy enough for Country, too landlocked for Celtic, not gentle enough for traditional folk. Bluesy Folk-A-Billy seems like a good fit for Noah Tolhurst, at least for the time being.”

“Growing up in a small farming community in the Chateauguay Valley in Southern Quebec, Noah always liked to hear the old family stories and stories about the area. Now, he's decided to combine his interests in music and in history and to put them to good use by passing on some of the more compelling narratives in song.”

Have you ever tried wild boar meat before? Don’t miss this visit from our local food truck: Domaine Herdman from Hinchinbrooke! It’s Thanksgiving weekend and we’re open regular hours, so come enjoy good food & beer with your relatives!

Naughty Nettles, Mange Ta Cour and the Livingstone Brewery are teaming up to offer this great afternoon exploration of green things.

This tour is open to the complete herbal newcomer or those with existing green thumbs - We work with all knowledge levels.

First we will meet at the Livingstone Brewery (www.livingstonebrewery.com), introduce ourselves and share our first cup of herbal tea (grown by ourselves.) We will then learn some of the processes and tricks to aid plant identification of the more common plants and trees growing around us.

We will then set out and explore the land around the brewery, searching for those plants we have just learned about and learning about their history, cultural context and medicinal or culinary uses.

We will finish with a local beer from the brewery (included for free), a summation of what we've learnt and the knowledge of some new plant allies that we can find growing all around us.

A printed handout will be provided with more information & space to take notes. This tour will be postponed until the 29th in case of rain.
